Tony Antoniou

Managing Director, Rainbow

Tony Antoniou has been in the office furniture industry for over 34 years, and has been the Managing Director for Rainbow since its inception in 1990.

Rainbow was created in response to the intense and profit-focused world of sales in the furniture industry. The company’s philosophy was, and still is, to deliver exactly what is right for the client, no matter how big or small, and to build a long-term relationship with them. This ethos is integral to everything Rainbow do, is reflected in their motto – Relationships Matter – and is why Tony and the Rainbow team focus on winning clients, not projects.

Tony and Rainbow’s portfolio includes furnishing the new HQ’s for many large organisations, such as, The Financial Times, The Press Association, the Met Office and Ipsos Mori, all of whom Rainbow have looked after for many years. Tony also understands the importance of day-to-day needs as these are pain points for the end user and must be handled with the same enthusiasm and diligence as larger projects.

As part of Rainbow and Tony’s ongoing commitment to building long-term relationships with clients, research is constantly being undertaken in order to keep track of the changing workplace. This information can then be passed onto clients to help them understand and benefit from any new and emerging trends.

The lockdown is a great example of the latest driver for change and Tony has been researching this topic since the lockdown started. He is now helping his clients understand the long term implications to the workplace and making sure they stay ahead of the impending trends.
