At the start of May 2026, Women in Office Design Germany hosted the latest edition of its event series in Munich in partnership with Kvadrat and Klöber, bringing together designers, architects and industry professionals for an evening focused on responsible material selection within contemporary workplace design.

Under the title “Material Matters,” the event explored how material choices influence sustainability, functionality and the long-term quality of interior environments. Discussions considered the topic from multiple perspectives, including product design, architecture and interior design.

The evening featured keynote presentations from Jan Fischer (AllesWirdGut Architektur ZT) and Réka Visnyei (INPULS Innenarchitektur München). This was followed by a panel discussion with WOD Germany Core Team Member Susanne Brandherm and Ana Relvão (RELVĀOKELLERMANN) – moderated by Johanna Neves Pimenta (md magazin).

Held at the Kvadrat Showroom in Munich, the event welcomed guests from across the workplace and design sectors for an engaging exchange of ideas, followed by networking, drinks and informal discussions. The evening highlighted the growing importance of thoughtful, responsible material specification in shaping the future of workplaces and interior environments.
