Cologne, Germany

On October 27th 2025, Women in Office Design Germany hosted an inspiring lunchtime event as part of idd cologne at Design Post Cologne, exploring Female Leadership in design, architecture and workplace culture. The response was overwhelming, the large audience filling the crowded auditorium reflected the strong interest in our topic.

The keynote talks by Monika Lepel (LEPEL & LEPEL) and Martina Rahmfeld (Architect & New Work Advisor) offered powerful insights into how space influences performance and how design can embody culture and leadership. In the following panel discussion – moderated by Johanna Neves Pimenta (md) – Meike Harde (Studio Meike Harde) and Dick Spierenburg (Spierenburg Studio, idd cologne / imm cologne / Orgatec) joined the conversation. Together, they explored how diversity, empathy and new leadership approaches can redefine workplace design.

Over the Business Lunch, kindly supported by Klöber, conversations continued in true WOD spirit: inspiring, open and full of connection.
